1. What RATA is
RATA is software that reads real estate transaction documents you upload and produces informational summaries, checklists, computed dates, and page-cited observations. RATA is a productivity tool for licensed professionals and their clients. It is not a law firm, a brokerage, an escrow company, an inspector, or an insurance provider, and it does not provide legal, tax, escrow, insurance, engineering, or brokerage advice.
2. Human review is required
Every output RATA produces can be wrong or incomplete. Computed dates, extracted facts, detected documents, flagged risks, and plain-English explanations must be independently verified against the source documents by you and your qualified professionals before you rely on them. You remain fully responsible for your transaction decisions.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may only upload documents you have the right to process, and you are responsible for obtaining any consent required from other parties to those documents.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of documents you upload. You grant RATA a limited license to store and process them solely to provide the service to you, including processing by third-party AI model providers under contractual confidentiality. We do not sell your documents or use them to train models without your explicit written consent.
5. Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no uploading of documents you lack rights to, no attempts to extract other customers' data, probe or overload the service, or reverse engineer non-public parts of the product.
6. Fees
Paid plans are billed as described at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in writing. We may change pricing with notice effective at your next renewal.
7. Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RATA's total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. RATA is not liable for decisions made in reliance on its outputs.
8. Termination
You can stop using RATA at any time and request deletion of your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Changes and contact
We will notify you of material changes to these terms. Questions: legal@getrata.ai.
